In this internship, you will work at the intersection of content creation, AI technology and educational innovation. Together with an experienced team of content developers, UX designers and AI experts, you will work on translating, rewriting and optimising training courses for an international target audience. You will learn how to use smart tools like ChatGPT, HeyGen and DeepL to enrich content and make it accessible via video, web and testing.

What will you do as a content optimisation & AI for education intern

As an intern, you will work on optimising and translating existing Dutch-language training courses to an international (English-speaking) target group. You will work with AI tools and learn how to cleverly use these to analyse content, improve it and make it suitable for video, web pages, readers and exams. You start by analysing existing training courses. Using AI tools, you translate and optimise the content. You discuss your progress every week with your internship supervisor and learn how to make content suitable for different media: video, text and testing. You will have the space to test your own workflow or improvement idea within the project. And the chance to experiment with various AI tools.

Your assignment:

  • Translate and rewrite existing training courses into English (in collaboration with AI).

  • Based on input, optimise training courses for video presentation (HeyGen).

  • Structure and translate web pages, readers and test questions.

  • Quality control on output of AI systems.

  • Think about an efficient workflow for AI-supported content creation.

You will collaborate in a team with content developers, UX designers and AI experts.

We are looking for you if you.

  • Are an inquisitive student who is curious about the possibilities of AI within communication and education.

  • you like to write, think analytically and are not shocked by tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL or HeyGen.

  • you can excel both in teamwork and independently

  • masters the Dutch language

  • is willing to experiment and learn from both successes and mistakes

Your education could be, for example:

  • HBO Communication or Creative Business (content creation, storytelling)

  • HBO Media Design or Crossmedia (focus on content and technology)

  • HBO Technical Translator or Applied Linguistics

  • HBO ICT, CMD or Digital Media (with an interest in AI workflows)

  • Education or Teacher Training (interest in e-learning)
