With user experience (UX) design, we design and optimise the online user experience of a digital product, e.g. a website, app or intranet. UX design is all about how it works, where visual design is more about how it looks.
Our UX designers think about how navigation, pages, functionalities and user flows work. All with 1 goal: to let a user achieve his or her goal as optimally as possible and with as little friction as possible. This involves design principles, psychological influencing principles, usability, copy, design and much more all together. UX design doesn't just start by haphazardly sketching out a website. We think through everything (but really everything) thoroughly. In joint workshops, we delve deeper into your target groups, your services and your corporate identity. What are user needs? And why should customers come to you and not to your competitor?
We want to understand who your users are, what they want and how your business and services work. Better still, we also want to know what is going on in the market and with your competition.
To arrive at a full preliminary research, we will analyse your Google analytics results and run a short toptask survey on your site. In it, we ask your target groups who they are, and for what purpose they come to your website.
We translate all relevant insights into:
a customer journey: in it, we collect needs, questions, opportunities, barriers and insights from (potential) customers at different stages of their customer journey.
personas: a fictional person who counts as a reflection of your target audience, with motivations, needs and wants captured in them.
This helps you and the design team make even better choices, as it allows you to better understand the needs of your target audience.
Human-centred design is in our DNA. Here, we look at user needs and wishes, organisational goals and (technical) feasibility. Important condition for success: knowing what user needs are, and preferably testing them with your end users.
Want to gain even better insight into the behaviour, motivations and needs of your (potential) customers? Then we offer additional user research. Think interviews with your target groups, focus groups or one of the other research methods.
